One of my favorite things to do as a child was play dress-up. It was in these rare moments that my mother allowed me to explore her walk-in closet and transform into whoever I wanted to be. But for a famous teen like Jaden Smith, every day is a dress rehearsal.

The Malibu-born actor started crashing the red carpet with parents Will and Jada as a baby decked out in carefully coordinated outfits before graduating to tailored suits for his breakout role in the 2006 drama “The Pursuit of Happyness.” Then came along thousands of adorable photo ops with his equally talented sis Willow, where Jaden sported leather jackets, skinny jeans, fly sneakers, baseball caps and braided hairstyles. But when the pouty teenager chopped his Afro into a tapered cut back in January, we instantly got flashbacks of his Dad during his “Fresh Prince” days. Whoa!

In celebration of Jaden’s 14th birthday on Sunday (July 8th), we’re taking a look back at the quadruple threat’s style over the years.

Meanwhile, see how Smith’s style matches up against Justin Bieber on stage.
