Can You Believe This ‘Saved By The Bell’ Star Is 40?
We may not miss all of the awkward polyester ’90s fashion, but we certainly get nostalgic for our favorite TV series of the decade, specifically “Saved By The Bell.” Elizabeth Berkley has come a long way since her curly-haired days as the brainy know-it-all Jessie Spano, but still maintains the do-good nature of AC Slater’s on-and-off girlfriend, recently campaigning for animal rights and promoting positive self-esteem for young girls with her book Ask Elizabeth.
These days, the mommy-to-be and former “Showgirls” star covers up her baby bump with a selection of jackets and black clothing, a big change from her busty ’90s tops and early ’00s corporate pantsuits. That aside, we best remember Elizabeth as the scrunchie-wearing class president just trying to make it through those cruel high-school years.
To celebrate Elizabeth Berkley’s 40th birthday on Saturday (July 28th), we’re taking a look back at her style transformation. Her good looks combined with those of hot hubby Greg Lauren should have Hollywood moms in a frenzy.
Elizabeth isn’t the only “Saved By The Bell” joining the parenthood club. Check out her co-stars and their kids here.
